Weser-Ems Ponies and Small Horses
The Weser-Ems Breeding Society is a sister organization to the Oldenburg Horse Breeders' Society. In North America, the Society follows the very strict standards for licensing and approval of breeding stallions and mares established by the Pferdestammbuch Weser-Ems in Germany. The goal of the Verband/Society is to breed top sport ponies and small horses for children and smaller adults. Please click on the links below to learn more. We also encourage you to contact the Society if you have any questions about Weser-Ems. The North American director, Holly Simensen, or the Breeding Director in Germany, Mareile Oellrich are both happy to assist you. Photo left is of the 3 yr. old Bundeschampionate gold medalist Weser-Ems stallion, Cyrill WE (FS Champion Deluxe x Neysna (Power Man)). He is just one example of a long list of Bundeschampions and European Pony Gold Medalists in dressage and jumping. One of these Bundeschampion finalists is Chardonnay who is now winning in open Grand Prix dressage in California under trainer and rider, Jaye Cherry. This great stallion was purchased at an Elite Oldenburg Auction by Marta Kauffman of L.A.
