Carbondale’s French Connection is by French Kiss (Florestan I, Donnerhall) out of Hope (Hohenstein, Rubinstein I). She is a gorgeous and wonderfully bred black mare. She is 4 years old and stands 16.2 HH. Carbondale Farms bred and imported her from Germany as a two year old. Carbondale’s French Connection was awarded Premium Broodmare status by the GOV last year as a 3 year old. She was given the HIGHEST scores awarded to a mare last year for the entire 2007 GOV US inspection tour & was awarded the Cindy Bergmann award for being the best mare of 2007 in North America. She was awarded an 8.0 overall, an 8.5 for impulsion and elasticity (trot), and an 8.5 for overall general impression and development. She needs to go to sport and prove herself. She has had 90 days of basic training under saddle with experience on trails and in arenas. She is super sweet on the ground and under saddle. We are offering her for $70,000 but are negotiable to a good home. She definitely has the potential to do Grand Prix level dressage. Recent video of Carbondale’s French Connection at liberty is available upon request. For inquiries please email or call Melissa Nugent Klein at Melvany@verizon.net or (209) 304-9104. |
