- Following a long tradition of winning European and German National Championships, the Weser-Ems ponies didn't dissapoint at the 2007 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany.

- Five out of the top ten in the finals for the 6 year old Jumper Ponies were Weser-Ems including the Champion, Handsome Boy, pictured left (photo - Kiki-Beelitz.de) ridden by Laura Klaphake. The Champion of the 5 year old ponies was also a Weser-Ems pony, Campino, who was ridden by Victoria Klatte.
